Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the AI Heroes app ("AI Heroes", "we") collects, why, and the choices you have. AI Heroes is published on the App Store by Pham Van Truong.

What we collect

• Account identifiers. A Firebase user ID created when you start playing (no sign-in required). If you choose Sign in with Apple, we receive the identifier Apple provides and, if you share it, your email address (which may be an Apple private relay address).
• Game content. Your actions, the hero names and backstories you write, and the story so far are sent to our AI service to generate the next scene. Your adventures are stored on your device. We do not keep a copy of your adventures on our servers, except messages you choose to report.
• Reports. If you report a message, we store the reported text, your note and your user ID so we can review it.
• Purchases. Subscription and in-app purchase status, processed by Apple and RevenueCat. We never see your payment details.
• Usage and diagnostics. App events (for example, an adventure started or a chapter completed) through Firebase Analytics, and crash reports through Firebase Crashlytics.
• Legacy profile (players of version 1.x). Your existing profile, gold balance and characters stored in our database.

We do not collect your contacts, location, photos or advertising identifier, we do not show ads, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.

How we use it

• To run the game: generate story scenes and images, keep your progress, gold and subscription.
• To keep the game safe: moderation of player-written text and review of reported content.
• To understand and improve the game: aggregated usage and crash data.

Service providers

We share data only with providers that run the game for us: Google Firebase (authentication, database, analytics, crash reports), Cloudflare (our AI service and the AI models it runs, and report storage), RevenueCat (purchase status), Deepgram (turning story passages into narration audio for Pro players; it receives only the passage text) and Apple (Sign in with Apple, purchases). We do not sell your personal data.

AI-generated content

Stories, images and characters are generated by AI. They can occasionally be inaccurate or unexpected. Do not enter personal or sensitive information about yourself or others into the game.

Retention and deletion

You can delete your account at any time in the app: Account › Delete account. This deletes your sign-in account, your profile and gold, your subscription link, and the adventures and heroes stored on your device. Characters and adventures created in version 1.x of the app are not linked to any account after deletion and may remain on our servers. Reports you submitted may be kept while they are needed for safety review. Aggregated analytics that no longer identify you may be kept. You can also export your adventures in the app (Account › Export my adventures).

Children

AI Heroes is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or port your data, or to object to its processing. Use the in-app tools above or contact us through the support page.

Changes

We will post updates to this policy on this page and change the date above.
